Peer Connections – Pianist as DEIA Administrator and Advocate: Five Years Later

Dr. Rochelle Sennet, Professor of Piano and Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, will share insights into her working with various stakeholders towards long-lasting systemic equity and inclusion as an administrator over the last five years. This session is for music teachers, performers, students, and allies who may be interested in exploring further avenues for leadership and advocacy in the music studio and beyond, specifically as it relates to equity, inclusion, access, and belonging.
